In the Footsteps of Evald Tang Kristensen

Evald Tang Kristensen (1843–1929) was a Danish folklorist and collector of folk traditions. He travelled across Jutland, recording stories, songs, beliefs and accounts of everyday life.

The Jutland heath once covered large parts of central and western Jutland. During the 19th and 20th centuries, much of the heath was cultivated or planted with forests.
